Computer Forensic Investigations

Matt Scott from Envista Forensics spoke on “Computer Forensics Investigations.” In this course we reviewed some of the types of devices that electronic information can be found on and its significance depending on the type of investigation. There was insight as to what “data” is and insights on preservation methods and concerns. We reviewed the differences between user data and system related data and in what types of cases they are helpful.
